Life Cycles
(Errol Clark-Halkett)
LIFE CYCLES When LIFE is at its lowest And we know not where to turn Wonder we where should thou goest? And what candle wilt thou burn? Life is like a CYCLE And each stage must be fulfilled. The sad and glad Make up the turning that just won?t be stilled For if it is, then all will stop, And the bad would go on forever And the happy and glad ones we could appreciate not No no never. For it takes happy, sad, good, and bad To make our life cycles come full fold Like our beginnings as an infant Wrinkled, then budding, then wrinkling again as we grow old Yet the cycle is different for everyone, As we are different from one another And each one differently must unfold Yet similar likened to a sister and brother And the wheel of life keeps on turning, Not stopping for good or bad But Keeps on burning And God never puts more on us than we can stand, And that?s how we keep on Learning And through this we figure how to know good from the other While life?s Cycle goes right on round Keeping God first and loving your sisters and brothers For in life?s cycle where thou fittest in, Peace and love with God shall be Found So when life?s at its lowest where wilt thou goest? And what candle wilt Thou burn? Why the road that God showest And hath lain for thee The brightest candle with Him forever will burn And show us the way to set each and all of us free.
