Scientific principles of pressure and gravity were recently misinterpreted by some followers .The incident was milk drawn by the statue of lord Ganesh. It was blown up beyond proportion.
Lots of gossip, unwanted arguments, debates and public discussions followed them. Everything turned out to be mere time waste and clash of interests after the truth was revealed. Are all these called for?

Conclusion

Lord ganesh is not the only to face such controversies. Almost every god/goddess amid religion is criticized for something or the other. This basically degrades humanity and shows the arrogance and disrespect of mankind to elders and others. This is not meant to advocate any theist value. To be a theist or atheist is up to one?s own wish /will and everybody is at liberty to do that. Nobody has the right to question that freedom. However insulting or spreading false information about religious practices with an intention of disrupting human life and satisfying personal interest has to be shunned. Religion/caste has of late become a weapon to invoke the sentiment of the masses.
