Mahabharata-Pandavas
The epic Mahabharata gives the story of Pandavas. Dhrutarashtra, and panduraja were brothers. Dhrutarashtra was born blind. So his broher panduraja ruled the kingdom wisely in behalf of his elder brother. Dharma Raja,Bheem,Arjuna,Nakula and sahadeva were the sons of panduraja. They were called thePandavas. Dhrutarashtra had one hundred sons. They were called the Kauravas. Duryodhana was the leldet of them. The pandava brothers had respect the teachers and elders. Their devoti and attentin towards educatin,made them virtuous persons surpassed the Kauravas in all aspects,the Kauravas becvame jealous. Therefore they created many hardships to Pandavas. Later Panduraja Died. In the meantime,Dhrutarashtra became the defacts ruler. So the Kauravas refused to give the Pundavas their due share in the kingdom. They also rtried tokill to pandavas. The Pandavas married Draupadi,the daughter of king Drupadh thorough Swayamvara. Dhramaraja,the eldest of the Pandavas pllayed a game of dice with Duryodhana and was defeated. This made Dharmaraj lose everything. As a result of this, the Pandavas had to spend twelve years in the foret and one year I the court of kig Virata without revealing their identity. Draupadi also experieced a lot of difficulties along with thepandavas. At last thePandavas were compelled to fight the Kauravass for justice. Did you not hear about Srikrishna?do you know whyhe is considered as an ideal erson? He punished the wicked and savd the reghteous opeople. He was also a clsoe relative of both the Kauravas and Pandavas. Yet he supported the Pandavas toprotect Dharma. He advised the pandavas tofight with the Kauraas inorder to punish the wicked. He also clarified the doubts of Arjuna and rpeached him.
