The best way we here of knowing what creatures were alive on this earth millions of years ago is form studying fossils. Fossils are animnal and plant remains buried in rocks. There remining which have in most cases pertified(turned to stone)may be at shells,insects,leaves,bones,whole skeletons.or simple the tracks made by ancient animnals on ahores of sivamps. From such evidence scientists science that dinosaurs roamed the earth about 180,000,000 years ago, and that they died out about 60,000,000 years ago, what fossils here been found that make there scientists believe this? The most common one are bones,teeth,and claws. From there skeltons can be reconstructed. So,we can tell how the body was built. IN the gobi desertof Asia,nests and huge bones oat dianosurs have been dound. Scientists here even found potato shaped fossil eggs laid dinosaurs with dinosaur chicks almost ready to hatch! IN fact dinosaur fossils here been found on all the CAtincata including north America. The dinosaur were reptiles which means they were cold blooded. Their body temperature changed with air temperature. Many of them lived in swamps,. But the climate of world underwent a great changes about 60 millions years ago swamps dried up 10 w lands became mountainsthe climate became colder and dried. So the dinosaurs not only lost their sluggist it alsokilled off much vegetarian they lived on.
