Thousands of years back,remains the roots of a science tht
is today gaining wide accetance and propularity,a system
ofmedies most of the so called incurable diseases,yet
uniquely futuristic sytem of healing and good health. The
most ecofriendly system of treatment withno harmfulside
effects. Ayurveda which means science or wisdom of life is
an ancient philosophy based on a deep understanding of
eternaltruths about the human body, mind and spiit. It is
a system introduced to the human evolutin for treating the
physical and mentalailments ranging form symptom to
syndrome. But the incursions of western culture and
civilizatin and the ascent of modern medicine pout this
science in the shade. Ayurveda in its broader perspective
is a phislosophy that deals with the quality of life.
Preservtion of health and its maintenance are the main
objectivies of this science. A fully developed
medicalsystem comprising eight branches or the Astanges
like Kaya Chikista(General Medicine),Bala Chikista
(Paediatrics),Grahs Chikista)(Occult and Tantric
Medicine),Oordhwanga chikista(ENT),?Shalya
(Surgery),Dhamstra(Toxicology),Jara(Geriatrics),and Vrisha
chikista((Aphrodisiac Medicine). Ayuurveda is all about
how tomaintain life in a state of perfect health and takes
a patient in entiretyon physical,mental and spiritual
levels while treating the disease. With advanced
researches bringing to light more and more about the
influence of mind over body,Ayurveda is fast becoming a
holistic alternative to all other systems of medicine.
Ayurveda is the systeme available in India which has a
concept of Rejuvenati. Rejuventin is a person retais his
youth,vigour and vitality and which enhances his life
span,generalhealth,immunity memory
power,intelligence,complexion etc.,and revitalizes
body,mind and soul. Charaka-the speciality ayurveda
