The forest of Broceliande, stretches from the limits of the Morbihan to the l?Ille-et-Vilaine, a closed place where time itself seems to pass more slowly, privileged by nature, where traditions have a new direction. This is where traditions take root, from the eleventh century, the great adventures of King Arthur and his knights, this is where they leave for the research of the Holy Grail, here was born the enigmatic face of Merlin, the enchanting one.
A secret country, away from the big roads, Brocéliande remained the realm of the druids all while becoming the blessed refuge of the monks, thus realizing the perfect union between the antique druidic spirituality and the Christian message. These days, this region remains the one of the most visited areas of Europe.
It is therefore important to define precisely the various facets that contemplation of the different sites of Broceliande can bring, not only of knowledge, but also of reflections on the direction of human life in the middle of nature that never was more luminous. This work invites the pilgrim, whatever his religion or his culture, to meditate on the very Celtic former myths buried in the hills of a forest that is at the doorstep of the Other World.
As fascinating a read as one can expect from a fantastic author, this work is a true treasure. The author conveys her message of spirituality and her views on the relation between man and nature. She seems to believe in a pantheistic philosophy, where God is manifest in nature and natural objects, rather than transcending above and beyond the material world. She has an almost Wordsworthian view of nature, where the beauty of nature is not important in itself, but in the thoughts and feelings it invokes in the mind of man. Doubtless the fey Viviane is there for something!!!
