Ecclesiastes
(The Bible)

Publicidade
King Solomon has a case of the blues.

'Woe is me, life has no meaning!' He cries, in quite a few more words. He has all the wisdom in the world, and yet he seems to be pointing out that all the wisdom int he world has no use for anyone because we're all just going to die and be forgotten anyway.

But wait- there's more! It turns out that there is a point to life after all. It's just that most people don't see it. The meaning of life is God, of course! And that is what the wise King Solomon is really getting at.

The book of Ecclesiastes just proves how wise he is: He makes it seem as though everyone's lives are completely pointless and we should probably all just kill ourselves and works us up to this state of depression, then lets on the ONLY way we can possibly inject meaning into our lives, with the help of the Lord God Almighty.
