Water And Rock

While it takes years to leave a stamp of ? had been?, the once flowing water echoes its presence thro the unintentional chiseling it carved out on the rocks.
Living thro years as cohabitants, guiding the water in its journey, the rock faithfully supported the flowing wonder. With the warm sunshine adding glitter to its surface, the water evaporated leaving behind the skillful chiseling as glamour marks on the rocks. Even to this day, the rock smiles in all its beauty reminiscing the golden days when it romanced the flowing wonder.
Curious you may be to ask, why did the flowing wonder switch loyalties-leaving the rock for the sun?
It did, knowing its newfound love is no possessive beast. It had warmed its soul. Did you not know, warming the soul from afar is cuddling the loved one in absence? The rock held the water, but the sun cuddled it by warming it from afar.
Never to leave the rock bruised, in the form of rain, it often traveled back to cuddle it. when back to the rocks, it did dance in poetry.
