Natural Disasters: Great Harm For Mankind

Be it an earthquake in Bhuj, Latur or most recent in Pakistan or any other natural calamity, human beings are the ones who suffers the most. These natural disasters are unseen, unpredictable. They are like a devil rising from a very long sleep. Many human lives are taken in a recent earthquake in Pakistan.
Many young children died, families suffered and people became homeless. Innocent people are suffering, they have taken shelter in a cemetery, sleeping in open ground in such a cold weather. There is scarcity of food, first-aid, doctors, water and clothing to protect them from cold. At this point of time government should take immediate steps to help these people.
Though army people are doing their work with full dedication, they are providing victims with food and all necessary requirements. They are helping in clearing up debris and taking out trapped people from inside. Those photographs shown on the news channels shake our hearts for once. Still many affected areas are not provided with the required help, people are searching for their relatives and family members.
No one knows that in the debris may be they?ll find the dead body of their known members or may be they?ll find them alive. As a result of these unforeseen calamities everything gets destroyed and whatever remains is of no use. Everywhere there is mourning, silence and disappointment.
Natural disasters are unforeseen, but one can make efforts to prevent the causalities and destruction that it brings. One can plan in future how to prevent the maximum loss of human life and their belongings. How to save people and their home is a big question that comes in front after a natural disaster.
Some measures should be taken by government and scientists to prevent maximum destruction either from an earthquake or from any other natural calamity. Human life is important and it is the responsibility of every single person to save it. During the disaster situation cooperation is very important thing. If one is not able to prevent the after-effects of disaster then atleast they can give a helping hand to share the sorrows people who are suffering.
