Julius Caesar
(William Shakespeare)
A classic historical play brillantly sculptured together by William Shakespeare. This play not only takes a step back to look at the Caesar himself but at his coconspirators. Caesar?s seen through the eyes of the men who are ready to step up and kill him. They assume this is what is best for them and the people. Brutus makes this clear that he was doing this for the best of the people in his brilliant speech to the people after Caesar?s murder. Shakespeare does add an element of supernatural to this historical play. The conclusion only seen as the people at the times superstition of these acts, such as telling dreams, lightening, and other sorts of things, well documented in this play. Overall this is a delightful play showing the history and tragedy of Julius Caesar?s fall.
