"conversations With God I"
(Neale Donald Walsch)
Conversations with God is the first of three books written by the same author, and it's not religious at all. On the contrary, it intends to pull religion's cross bars out of our minds. All those restrictions, excommunications that made us feel guilty for years and years; all of the taboos we were taught; all about good and evil, that caused us great bitterness and depression for failing the LAW OF GOD, made by men in any case; all what filled us with feelings of guilt for years; all that goes away when we read Conversations with God. Our life changes, it makes a 180 degree turn and happiness, peace of mind, freedom of the soul transform us into complete human beings, free of guilt, with many more responsibilities for comittment and not for fear; because of conviction and not the fear to go to hell, invented also by men. After reading this book, the only thing that one wants is the secod and the third one. In reading them, the feeling of freedom is indescribable, the feeling of wholeness is greater and greter; the feeling of social comittment, comittment of life with oneself first and then with everyone else. It makes us enter a state of both euphoria and some nostalgia. Euphoria, for the life ahead of us... Nostalgia for not having found this book a long time ago, and therefore not having prevented years of pain, unhappiness, insecurity and guilt; years of feeling like the worst of beings in the universe, thanks to a religion of a God that is far from the true one: a punishing God, invented by men. Conversations with God I is the first of 3 keys that open the locks of chains that religion put on us in all its versions.
