God said let there be light and there was light. God said let there be life and there was life. The religious scripture of each civilization that had or has emerged on the surface of the earth determines the presence of a supernatural force that guides and binds the whole of the universe together. Every faith in the world establishes the common belief that god is omnipresent and has identical love for everybody. But then the very important question arises that why god made the human race the most intelligent and unstoppable species amongst all species. Humans over the billions of years since the Big Bang and his evolution have made various changes to the landscapes of the earth by collaboration as well as discrimination. God had certainly in mind while creating living beings on the earth that there would be certain species which would be above the other species in one way or another. So he created huge dinosaurs, minute ants, carnivorous tigers and lions and the ferocious sharks amongst a variety of other species. But then marveled his creation by creating the best species of all, Man.
MAN had all the virtues and evils which God wanted the marvel of his creation to possess. Since the stone age times man has traveled a lot at a rapid pace to bring about major changes in God?s original version of the earth. Man during the Stone Age learnt to survive in caves, hunt other animals for food and use fire. Gradually he lived in settlements, saved himself from the clutches of ferocious beasts and moved on to the new age. Many a structural wonders were built. Many a cultures were established. Man pushed the seas back by constructing dams, sunk lakes and lagoons to build houses on them, felled trees to create massive buildings amongst others. Man with the advent of passing time has ripped open the torso of mother earth to take away all the natural resources and precious stones stored inside it. Man defied Mother Nature by setting up alarms to scrutinize the developments inside a volcano. Man has explored into space setting his foot on the moon. Man has created machines that regulate the climatic condition of earth. Man has set up his control center in the coldest place of the earth. Man has ruled over the universe never denying the existence of any other life form. Soon man is due to set his foot on other planets and explore out the possibility of living a life there. Man had surely advanced at a fast rate from the chimpanzee wearing a goatskin to the urban professional administrator. But is this development worth the acknowledgment it receives from the masses?
The technologies that man has created release such destructive expellants that the earth has become a dangerous place to survive in. The air is not suitable to be inhaled. The atmospheric shell shielding us from the direct rays of the sun is breaking up due the harmful nature of these expellants. The direct rays of the sun are melting the glaciers at such rate that if not stopped the land on earth would be submerged under water within billion of years. Man defied the laws of nature by cloning animals and now is going to clone himself. The destruction it would lead to is unimaginable. No one with a good financial backing would die let the person be a politician, a doctor or a terrorist. Man broke up the atoms into subatomic particles to liberate energy out of it to be used a renewable energy source. Man slaughtered animals and felled trees, removed natural barricade of the rivers and seas and polluted the atmosphere and rivers alike in a miserable manner. But what has this directed us to? We have finished up making weapons of mass destruction which have led to such appalling incidents in our history as Hiroshima and Nagasaki and almost Pearl Harbor. The seas have become ravaging due to absence of natural barricade, Cyclones and tsunamis have amplified, flash floods have multiplied due to absence of trees, the fresh water resources are fast dwiindling owing to pollution. Man challenge
d nature by constructing huge buildings on contradictory places with defective construction. Nature responded by devastating earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis.
Is this how God would have aspired Miracle of his creation to lead the other species of the earth? Man developed his virtues but he developed his evils more. We quarrel with each other almost everyday, be it amongst two children of the same parents or two long term neighbors of the same society, or two states of the same country or two countries of this earth. The superpowers have led us such an end where lies only destruction. We have let terrorism to have a command over us due to our transgression. God had created man to develop the earth. But man has led himself to such crossroads after so much of development that destruction is the ultimate possibility. Development is must for the growth and evolution of any species but it must not be at the cost of ultimate annihilation of the very same species. We certainly are the marvel of God?s creation but do we behave so? This question?s answer only time and time will give???
