A study in scarlet

The story starts with lauriston garden mystery which was briefed in a letter handed over to Mr. Sherlock Holmes by a retired sergeant of marines. The letter was written by Tobias gregson. Mr.Gregson was the smartest Scotland yarders. Soon after reading the letter Holmes and his partner Dr.watson drove furiously for the brixton road. The corpse lay stretched upon boards in the kitchen.
It was that of a man about forty three or forty-four of age, middle sized, broad shouldered, crisp curling hair and a short beard.
From the personal belongings of the dead body they found an address of a man called Joseph strangerson and a wedding ring. Upon close scrutiny Mr. Holmes found something scrawled across the wall. It was written in blood red letters ? RACHE the German for REVENGE.

John rance was the person in charge of security of brixton road and the nearby areas. According to him there was only to houses that stood empty. Last night he saw a flickering light of the candle in one of the houses. He went inside the house for checking. He saw the dead body lying in the kitchen. When he came out he saw a drunken chap outside the gate. From the descriptions said by rance,
Holmes said from his perception that the chap had came for the ring.
Sherlock and his partner placed an ad in the evening newspaper abut a ring found from the brixton road. Responds came. An young man came disguised as an old woman claimed it on the behalf of her daughter sally. After that Holmes followed her but it was in vain.

Meanwhile Mr. Gregson the smartest of yarders came with the result of his investigation. His story told about a man called Arthur who killed Mr.Drebber in connection with an attempt to molest his sister.

From the view of lestrade he had many suspicions about the secretary of Mr. Drebber, Mr. Strangerson.
So he set his trail on this man. But the fate was against him. Mr.Strangerson was also murdered.

With the help of the organization of the rag pickers made by Holmes he found that a man called Mr. Jefferson hope was the real culprit.

Confessions Mr. Jefferson hope

The story of hope?s revenge goes like this:

Years back a man called John Ferrier had lost his way and company during his adventurous journey through the desert. He and a small girl child were left over. They were rescued by a group of people called Mormons. They adopted him and the child. Her name was Lucy Ferrier. For many years he and Lucy lived with Mormons happily. The girl grew to be a young beautiful woman.
She fell in love with man called Jefferson hope. Lucy and her father were in favor of him. But the chief of the Mormons told him that she should marry one among them.
Ferrier and Lucy stood against this. They were given a choice. She could either marry Drebber or strangerson. One night Lucy and Ferrier fled with Hope. Mormons chased them. Mr. Strangerson killed Ferrier and took away Lucy. She was forcibly married to Drebber. After few days, on questioning a Mormon hope heard that Lucy passed away with a broken heart. On her burial day Hope came and took the wedding ring in the view that she could not be buried with that.
From that day onwards he was waiting for a good chance to kill Drebber and strangerson. At last he found them in London. Very dramatically he avenged those persons who took away his beloved from him. He also left some clues in order to give a wrong trail for the investigating officers.
