The Bride Of My Brother

Usik, also known as Usik no-use, is wondering the strange mission, which his brother Imri has started. Imri has driven to Poland, and is going to marry a woman there and bring her home - and when he gets back he is going to divorce her. And the same thing takes place four times, with four different women. That has nothing to do with love. It is really a trick in order to get a citizenship for the woman. Because the Jewish settlements want new immigrants and many European Jews want to escape from fear of Hitler. Soon comes the big brother with the young Polish woman, Anna, and this time it has something to do with love, the two seem to be a couple not only "on the paper" but in reality, too. Nevertheless Imri drives back to Poland, in order to satisfy his "national mission". And Anna remains with Usik and aunt Mirjam. Everybody loves Anna. Also Usik. Most in love with her is anyhow the English pilot major Parker, who saves Usik's dog, Johnny Weismüller. Usik is monitoring the situation carefully but it develops into something complicated. But since Usik loves the cinema, above all Tarzan films, he is counting on a happy end.
