What went wrong?
When the world- war come to end after the Notorious Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs, the whole world celebrated as if Jesus had just descended from heaven, but the joy to the world was short lived by the out break of HIV AIDS.
If my estimation is correct the world war killed almost five million people, which is now regarded by many as a mere fraction compared to the number taken by AIDS. I went to a state hospital in South Africa called Leratong, meaning waiting for death, I was shocked on arrival, with the situation in ward six, which they call the place of death. Some people blamed themselves that if they could have chosen Jesus as the driver of their lives, maybe they could be still enjoying life now, but is that true? There are many Patients who are turned away because hospitals cannot cope with increasing number of HIV AIDS sufferers. The other factor affecting the African health is the system introduced by United Kingdom, USA and Saudi Arabia; these three countries are stealing African professionals, crippling the health system in countries like South Africa, Zimbabwe and other African States
Jesus said after healing a blind man, one of the followers asked him whether its because of his sins or his parents? sins, the man was blind. Jesus, told them that this happens so that the power of God can be witnessed, Now this scourge called AIDS, is it because of sins or, its because we must see the power of God? When ever I pray I asked God to reveal the truth in HIV AIDS for the information we get from scientist is from human, its high time that we must get first hand information from God. To all those who had visited African Hospital, you should know better what I am saying. The trip to Leratong was not enough, I went to Bara in Soweto, that when I proved the grade three English work which says good, better, best and bad, worse, worst. The situation was very bad to such an extent that I cried to God. This was a South African perspective so I thought to go Zimbabwe, on arrival I discovered that almost one in every three people had a funeral, of a family member with some funerals you only find ten or less people attending. Hospitals were not even copying with patients of which some were discharged without medicine. As this was not enough, I progressed to Zambia, Malawi and Botswana, they were all singing one song, AIDS. Only two countries that were still safe, are DRC and Angola, but remember these two countries are just recovering from civil wars, which results in them loosing thousands and thousands of people.
Though scientist had discovered ARVs as a temporary solution to HIV, AIDS its available to those who are rich, with ninety nine percent of Africans living on less than one US dollar a month, who can real afford these drugs. The United States and United kingdom, went to free Iraq after discovering that innocent people were dieing on daily basis, why can?t the
two supper powers free millions and millions of African on death row because of AIDS? One wonders whether USA and UK went to war with the aim of helping people or cashing in from oil reserves, because not
even under Saddam leadership, did Iraq people died like what we witness now in Africa.
Real to God we all ask one question, what went wrong, you are the creator of earth and heaven why do you stand aside and look whilst your people I perishing or is this the hour you promised that you will take and judge us? One thing remains whether one believes or not in Jesus Christ, the hour will come for every one and no one will survive the jugdement day
