Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince
(J.K.Rowling)
Harry potter and the half blood prince J.K. Rowling has come a long way, with her sixth book celebrating the eve of the season finale. Really, why is the series so famous? From the pick up lines to the outraging publicity canvas, all that we gather, conveys to us the ordinary fact that its just another book with the usual elements of thrill, suspense, drama, excitement with a little bit of magic added in. Well, anybody who has read the book may just add in to that list of adjectives but deep down knows, that there is something to the book which words cant explain? The web of magic which Rowling has woven is so mesmerizing, even the die hard classic readers or literature lovers at some corner of their heart, would secretly enjoy the reading? The sixth book is again Potter?s fight against the unnamed rather ?the man who must not be named? but the plot gets deeper with more mysteries being unraveled. Sometimes we all just trust our instincts more than anything else for unknown reasons? this sixth book shows how potter trusted himself right every time his friends told him he was wrong and dint give up. He goes for it, though he loses a lot in the process, but he knows he cannot give up? and the story ends with his strong resolution to keep the battle on, now for more powerful reason than the reason of revenge. Once one gets to the last page of the sixth book, there is this exponentially rising curiosity of the story in the finale, Harry?s seventh year at Hogwarts or not ?!! Its just amazing to imagine such characters, each one with so much of depth. Rowling may not be the an ace in the field of literature, but her most profound understanding of people, the sea of different personalities, is the very reason why her books are such a success. At each stage Harry learns a new lesson, these are the very lessons a man learns as a child but somehow loses track as he grows up. This book is a revelation to those ideals, those lessons, those nuances of wisdom. The book also connects with the reader at his/her most sensitive level, his childhood. The burning desire of the young hearts to have magic in their hands ? that?s what this book Really speaks about. Finally, there are lot of notions about this book as being simply dichotic, a melodrama of the good and bad but really, its one of those books which do justice in bringing out the real essence of traits like courage, knowledge and love. That is what everyone needs the most.
