It was Chrismas Eve. Ebenezer Scrooge was in his office, the office of Scrooge and Mraley. His clerk, poor Bob Cratchit, was working. Suddenly, Scrooge's young nephew came into the office. He wished Marry Christmas and asked his unkle if he he wanted to come and have Christmas dinner with them next day. But Scrooge hated Christmas and he refused his nephew's invitation. His nephew went away. Later two men came to the office, asking for money for the poor. Scroogerefused to give even a penny. Then, when it was time to close the office, Bob Cratchit asked for the day off, because it was Christmas. Scrooge agreed and said him to be the next day morning. That evening Scrooge was sitting in front of his fire at home when, suddenly, he saw a ghost in front of him. Scrooge asked who he was. The ghost told him that in life he had been Jacob Marley, his patner. He added also that he was wearing chains and he could never be in peace, because when he had lived he onle had thought about money. He told to Scrooge he was there to help him. In his opinion Scrooge have a chance to escape his terrible destiny. At the end he said that tree ghost would visit him. Then the ghost of Marley dissapeared. Scrooge went to bed and fell asleep. But in the night he woke up. The figure of a strange old man appeared near hid bed. He said e was the Ghost of Christmas Past. Of his past. The ghost took Scroge to scenes of Christmases from the past. In one scene Scrooge saw himself as a boy at school. He was reading a book. All the other boys had gone home for Christmas. In another scene Scrooge saw himself as young man. He was talking to his girlfrined, who he did not marry because she did not have any money. Scrooge began feel sader and sadder. He shouted him to showing no more. He cried. Finally the ghost brought him home and Scrooge fell asleep again. Later that night Scrooge woke up again. Second ghost came. He told him that he was Ghost of Christ,as Present. He said to look at him. He was a large man with a beard, wearing a green robe. he took scrooge to the house of Bob Cratchit and his family. It was cold in the house and Bob and his family were sitting around a very small Christmas pudding. Having cried Bob said Marry christmas to everyone. Scrooge felt sad, because he could see how por the Cratchits were. Bob's smallest child, Tiny Tim, was weak and ill. The ghost finally took Scrooge to a very poor areas of London. There were two poor children out in the street. Scrooge thought he should to do something. The ghost repeated this words and laughed. Then he said the sentences which in past Scrooge told to some men. He said exactly if was no prisons! Then, the third ghost appeared. He was dressed in black and look... Scrooge asked nervously if he was the Ghost of Chrostmas Future. The ghost did not answer. It took Scrooge and showed him scenes of the future. In one, people were talking about Scrooge's death, but not one person was unhappy about it. The ghost also took him to the Cratchit family.The fimily was crying. The little boy, Tiny Tim, had died. The next morning, scrooge opened his window and asked laudly what day was that day. Young boy in the street answered that was Christmas Day. Scrooge was very happy. He gave money to the boy to buy an enormous turkey for the Cratchit family. Then he went out into the street. he wished everybody he saw Merry Christmas. He met the man who had asked him earlier for money for poor ang gave him a large sum of money. Scrooge then went and visited his nephew and had the beat dinner in his life. The next day he went to his office early. He waited for Bob Cratchit. Scrooge saidto him in an angry voice that he was later. Poor Bob replied he was very sorry. But Scrooge continued. He told him that in these case, he was afraid he was going to..increase Cratchit's salary. And he wished Marry Christmas to Bob. From that day, Scrooge was the happiest man ine the world. He gave money to the poor. He helped Bob Cratcfamily. And people always said of him that he was a man who had known how to celebrate the Christmas!
