Tend my sheep - seal - (John 21.16)

The glass of the window shows me the rain, that, in an

asymmetrical way, it goes down meekly on lush flowers.

These once, kissed by the wind, are moved, exhibiting a

variegated look for beauty difficult to describe.

On second time, I looked through the same window pane,

the reflex of the bell-flower of the gloss of the room

where I am, let to contemplate, inviting me to approach

to feel the pleasant smell of the wet nature. Not

resisting, I am going until the window and, now, at

close range, a pleasure sensation invades my soul, when

a deep happiness takes me to the tears. This is Nunavut!

Toronto, Canada, 1999. Among other activities I was

attending Microsoft Seminar, when Windows was being

thrown for Eskimo. I became surprised and wanted to

know, the reason of so much prestige given to the

release of a work of such complexity for a population,

at that time, of only twenty two thousand people,

insufficient number to justify the ROI (Return on

Investment). What ingenuousness! We were in July and,

some months before, April of that year, the natives had

land became the newest Canadian state: Nunavut that in

the language from the people of the ice means Our Land.

Now the Eskimo term is considered depreciative. If you

go to the Arctic, in case he gets to pronounce, they are

now called of "unavummiut", I mean to say, correct? The

writing is beautiful, reminding the Japanese "hiragana."

When that people were still called of Eskimo, an

American missionary accomplished an incursion until that

territory. His purpose was to preach the Gospel and it

bumped into his first difficulty, as animals described

in the Bible didn't exist in that great geographical

area, when an illumination made him to change the word

sheep into seal. It turned out to be excellent: His work

had overcome his own expectation.

The success in communication is directly linked to the

uncomplicated form and without noise with that the same

is made. Among many aspects to be considered, the main

To fail in communication means to make the seal to lose

the own focus and to leave furiously toward you, looking

for news of him. You would better paying attention to

well-being, strengthening some eventual resolution.

investments of Canada in Nunavut, is more than right.

Great part of the resources will be being allocated to

the exploration of mineral beds of gold, silver,

diamond, gas and petroleum, where new technologies will

enlarge the extraction largely.

The idea is to supply all kind of necessity of Nunavut.

The federal government's politics for the new sons will

increase the quality of life and the progress,

stimulating in a growing way the citizenship sense. It

won't be strange if before 2020, year of the culmination

of the cold project, the ?unavummiut? if they turn so

warm and patriots as the other Canadians.

I always got in mind that the habit precedes the law and

"day by day", it only collects me of reason, because, naturally, after a habit takes its own place in a

society, the legal recognition comes.

To communicate remember to understand the rules of

relationship, which can bring you a positive return or

cause unexpected disappointment.

So, to evaluate people in dynamics group, to hire a new

employee, to assist a customer, not only in the North

Pole but everywhere in the earth or of the ice, we need

to establish a strong relationship, consideration and

respect.

Wherever you are, the good communication will produce

such pleasant feelings, that people will delight

imagining: Our Land, Nunavut!
