Pretend you are blind. Without any sight at all. There is no light coming through your retina that is translated into your brain whatsoever. Say there is only darkness. darkness like one has wheen entering a windowless closet or small pantry . Except in this case there is not even any light coming through the perimeter or the door. There is only pitch black, the kind that usually scare a person who can see quite normally given the light of day or the light of artifical light from lamps, candles or incandescent and fluorescent bulbs.
This type of darkness presents an uneasy sense in a person. All of a sudden we have lost a sense we have depended on heavily all of our lives. Now you are ready to experience the book entilted "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Wait a mi8nute we forgot that you can still hear. oNe must imagine life without sound, too.
This book, the TV series and most recently the movie should only be experienced without sight and sound. Why? Only because there has never in the history of literature a greater waste of talent, imagination, precious time and the audiences waste of energy than this randomly pasted together stories, experiences and futuristic ideas of life of humans than this poorly put together assemblage of words and thoughts than "Th Hitchhikers ............"
This critic does not wish to watse the time, energy or use of the computer's word processor to even give homage to this "assemble" called a book its poorly unthought of af a title.
Lets say that this critics denunifation of the book creates an innate interest in an individual toread, thumb through or just pick up this book. My sentiments are to reply only "GET A LIFE!' , you have a better life.
