India Shining???
(Nair)

Publicidade
Nowadays, globally there is a wide dialogue about the economic growth in India and the development India is making. It is largely discussed that India along with China is growing to be the next Super Powers of the world thanks to the development in trade and industrial sectors especially in IT sector. It is also said that India has reached the level of fourth techno-economic power in the world. And as per report, FBI has projected India to be the top world techno-economic power by 2030.

We as Indians are really proud for the growth of our country. At last the hard work and the commitments to the work by the people are paid back with good and prosperous results. We see many Indians / Indian companies coming into the list of Fortune 500 companies of the world.

But when looked to this issue closely and with open eyes, do we feel that India is on the race for the top place world techno-economic power?

Within these 58 years (the post independence period), there has been vast deteriorating concerns that has shown alarming situation in the country. It is noticed that Indian villages are speedily bereaved from their natural roots. The Indian towns are quickly fading their conventional appeal, elegance and prosperity of life. The slums are fast increasing in cities, along with lots of dirt and garbage. Roads are jammed with traffic. There is a serious energy crisis. Our national resources show severe deterioration. The water and the atmosphere are getting highly polluted. Along with these, the precipitous increase in crime rates and fall in public values are added up to this ruthless situation year after year.

Moreover, it is also noticed that still there are places where supply of water, electric, other basic needs, etc has not even reached to the people. Proper education or proper awareness for education is not provided to the people. It is a shame to say that there are still people who are illiterate. Moreover, unemployment problem is on rise. Proper employment / self employment programmes are not conducted.

This post independence period have shown that India is deeply trapped in a debt trap by taking huge loan from the World Bank, etc for the development. The results obtained from the perspiration (hard work) of the people are squeezed and squashed in order to pay back the huge loan taken. Where has the money gone, nobody cares to it. I say this because this money was taken for the development of the country, but there are many places where electricity, water, education are never provided.

It is clearly seen that the only the urban areas were developed and the rural areas were totally as if ignored.

The rich become richer, the poor become poorer. The corruption in India have rose to its peak. It has now become an important part of life. Now, the situation is such that without corruption being involved, even the smallest part of work cannot be progressed.

Moreover, people fight each other in the name of religion (influenced by political people or religious community people). What to say about the religions, it has now slowly beginning a practice in each state where the state people start differentiating people of other states. The mentality of people has changed. No unity among the people. India as a country where all the states and union territories are considered as one whole country, but now India is slowly differentiated into different states. The people in India now like to be called like Maharastrian, Gujaratis, Keralites, Punjabis, Tamilians, Rajasthanis, etc. and now they are not interested in calling themselves as INDIANS. Where is the unity in India which the Honourable leaders like Gandhiji, Bhagat Singhji and others who had sacrificed their lives to create this modern united free India.

Even the study shows that if this chaotic condition is not properly ordered, it would affect the human behaviour adversely and the mental stress deepens.

And the world says that India is developing. And the so-caalled Indian politicians bring out that the India is shining.

How could this be? I do not understand.

Do you understand???

The point is to bring the country as a whole united front. Work for the betterment in unity. The government have to seriously bring awareness of education the people, bring out better and productive employment / self employment programmes. Water, electric supplies and other facilities to the backward areas are to be provided in abundance. The programmes for cleaner India is to be made important. Proper utilisation of funds for different projects should be maintained. Corruption virus should be fought for eradication. The process of making rich richer and poor poorer should be removed and programmes for prosperous of every people involved should be made into practice. Exploitation and corruption should be unearthed and removed. Unity should be restored among people. Equal opportunities is to be given to the people irrespective of whether the person is related to any politician / industrialist / high society OR any one from the common people.

If these become a custom and a system, then we can really say INDIA IS SHINING or INDIAN IS FAST GROWING TO BE ONE OF THE TOPMOST TECHNO-ECONOMIC POWER IN THE WORLD. But till then it is just one of the developing country trying desperately but also weakly trying to be near the developed countries.
