Love
(Sunil Noronha)
If you knew someone all your life, how would he compare to that guy you just saw and got to know two weeks ago? Is it the thrill you are looking for or are you looking for the kill? You should know that the kill lasts but the thrill only excites using hearts as it does. When the kill's on your mind, you need to have tact to move on in when there?s nothing to lose and the patience to wait for it to come along first which you will have if you are sincere with what you want and how you feel and if you are sensible enough to act level headed for the sake of your own heart. If the kill is worth it, there wont be anything to lose and it'll all be by the way. "Making love and breaking hearts, that?s a game for youth I'm not waiting on a lady, I?m just waiting on a friend" Youth is just a state of mind. Eventually you are as old as you feel and maturity is just relative. A mature way to handle things is to play safe-that can sometimes hide the truth. It?s a condition people create to allow living in peace together. The thrill keeps hearts at a distance between which it provides for transfer of emotion but you never really touch each other?s souls. When you then go for the kill, the damage is already done. Your hearts are locked in a trap out of which if you come out you break away from a bond that has been so dear and if you stay in you tread further on ground that makes you no more want a part in because it's something you never expected and something you can?t handle. Its basically because the distance that existed but was hidden now reveals itself. So there you have it-the easy way which most people take with its pros and cons as a part of the package and the hard way which is the real thing and is "no sweat". Isn?t that how life should be? If you are good enough you can otherwise you cant even if you try to be able to. If you then become able to, you spoil the whole cycle of how things are supposed to be and that will undermine a lot of others peoples natural talents. "Watching girl?s go passing by ain't the latest thing I'm just standing in the doorway I'm just trying to make some sense All these girls passing by, the tales they tell of men I'm not waiting on a lady, I?m just waiting on a friend A smile relieves a heart that grieves Remember what I said I'm not waiting on a lady, I?m just waiting on a friend Don?t need a whore, I don?t need a fool Don?t need a virgin priest I need someone I can cry to, I need someone to protect Making love and breaking hearts, hats a game for youth I'm not waiting on a lady, I?m just waiting on a friend"
