Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Once again it?s back to Hogwarts for the third instalment of the Harry Potter series. After blowing up his wicked. Harry finds himself on the run. But in the dark streets of little whinging something is different. Dark shadowy figures are stalking him from the corner of his eyes. Luckily he escapes aboard the triple-decker night bus and heads to London to escape his family and the strange creature following him.
Saved by the minister of magic Harry is reunited with his friends and prepared for his third year at school. But there is a dark cloud on the horizon. A terrible criminal is on the loose and to Harry's astonishment is hunting him even more bizarrely he is warned not to go looking for this criminal ?Sirius Black?.
The third Harry potter book is where the story of the series as a whole begins to take shape, gone are the innocent Hogwarts adventures of the previous books, the Prisoner of Azkaban is a distinct turn to the dark side which has continued throughout the rest of the series. Terrible soul draining creatures called Dementors and bloodthirsty werewolves are introduced to the scene and the book takes a deep look into the past and the events leading up to the death of his parents. More emphasis is put into Harry learning about the past and finding out that he still has a Godfather.
With the enrichment of the background of Harry?s life it is also clear to see the development of Harry as a character as he slowly turns from an innocent child with no concept of his destiny to a young adult beginning to understand his fate and responsibility. The Interaction between the characters in the previous books is also explained as Harry discovers the reasons behind his potions masters dislike for him. The connections between Harry?s fathers old enemies and the way their feuds and the repercussions on Their children are part of a growing theme in the series that is expanded upon with each book as the plot slowly unravels and the innocent betray and the traitors are not quite as guilty as they once seemed. The books? ending is particularly notable because although the day is won, the price brings Harry back where he started, alone.
