There are two ways you can classify the twelve signs. These also work as effective mnemonics or memory aids. signs are grouped into four based on the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Fired people, Arians, Leos and Saggis, are honest, generous, outgoing, passionate, hot-tempered and generally hot. Earthy people, Taureans, Virgos and Capris, are usually earthy, sensuous, practical, firm and even-tempered. Airy people, Gemini, Librans and Aquas, are casual, communicative, fastmoving and changing. Waterbabies, Cancerians, Scorpio are deep, sentimental, brooding and poetic. How did our oldies think of all this? Wow!
Another grouping is to divide them into Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable signs. The Cardinals, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capri are the creators. They are their own influencers and are not affected by external affairs. They are the sources of their good and evil. The Fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpy and Aqua may form their intellect from outside or inside sources, but once in, ideas, policies and philosophies stay put. Difficult to dislodge their mental bricks. Or blocks. The Mutables, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces are influenced easily. By the media, books, parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends and the girl next door. They are not gullible, they get ideas from everywhere. And they keep upgrading the comp in their heads.
Now observe the combos: Pisces is a mutable Water sign. Mix and match the qualities and spot the six differences when Pisceans are compared to Scorpies, who are fixed water signs. Both are sentimental, but the fish may forgive while the scorpion won?t even forget. Fixed signs are stubborn.

The signs may also be divided into masculine and feminine signs. As in yin and yang not macho moustaches and soft skin. The pattern is an alternating pattern. Aries ? masculine, Taurus ? feminine, Gemini ? m, Cancer ? f . . .like that. The masculine signs are direct, frank, active, bold while the feminine ones are diffident, reserved, passive. Usually, not always.
An interesting insight I had, which wasn?t mentioned in astrobooks I read is that Arians are masculine Martians while Scorpios are feminine Martians. Taureans are fem Venusians while Librans are masc Venusians. Geminis are bold Mercurians and Virgos are shy Mercurians. Like that with Saggies and Pisceans, Capris and Aquas. Moon is f and Sun is m, so crabs are fem and lions are masc.
Do you watch fashion programmes on the idiotbox? Now stop watching them for the reasons you do and start doing it for astrological research and development. These channels, when covering barely-covered models give info regarding their vital stats, agency and? sunsigns. ?Maria is Virgo.? That?s useful. While others are looking at other things, look at their faces. Each sunsign has its unique facial structure. Aquarian jawlines, Piscean eyes, Taurean necks, Leonine hair, Capri curls, ? these features show through like skin in a sheer blouse, in spite of the misguided efforts of our fashion-makers, who want to make models look as if cast from one mould. Anyway, this project gives hubby a great excuse to look at heavenly bodies. ?Aw, just looking at her jawline, sweetheart, don?t be mad with hubby-bubby.?
