My First Abstract
(JWO II)
Here I'm writing an abstract on the actual subject of abstract. Abstract as it seems is a a concept which makes something come away from the minor details. Its also seen as something that makes things more difficult when its actually supposed to make things easier. Reason being that some people don't like abstractions and want to have all the dirty details on the situation at hand. Here are a few definitions of the concept of an abstract: Considered apart from concrete existence: an abstract concept. Not applied or practical; theoretical. See Synonyms at theoretical. Difficult to understand; abstruse: abstract philosophical problems. Thought of or stated without reference to a specific instance: abstract words like truth and justice. Impersonal, as in attitude or views. Having an intellectual and affective artistic content that depends solely on intrinsic form rather than on narrative content or pictorial representation: abstract painting and sculpture. Interesting how far apart most of these definitions are isn't it? Apart from concrete? Inpersonal? Difficult to Understand? So why is something thats supposed to be easier in fact so far away from reality? probably because ideas come farther away than reality and we don't always understand what someone else sees in concept. Pretty neat isn't it? Here I'm writing an abstract on the actual subject of abstract. Abstract as it seems is a a concept which makes something come away from the minor details.
