Genesis
(The Bible)

Publicidade
When God created the woman he put Adam into a deep sleep.  Then he took one of Adams ribs and made a woman for Adam and sent her to him.  Adam said he would call her woman since she came from man; she came from his own flesh.  They were joined together as husband and wife.  They were both naked, from what I understand it to be, they had no knowledge of being naked.
The serpent was subtile, more than any creature God had created.  He asked the woman if God had told her that she could not eat from every tree in the garden.  She told the serpent that they were allowed to eat the fruits from the trees of the garden but the fruit from the tree which was in the midst of the garden was forbidden, that if they did eat that fruit they should die.
The serpent told the woman that if she ate the forbidden fruit that she surely would not die.  When the woman saw that the forbidden fruit looked to be good she took the fruit and also gave some to Adam and he took it from her, they ate the fruit and their eyes opened to things that had not any insight to before.  They saw that they were naked; they sewed fig leaves together for clothing because they were now ashamed.
They then heard God walking through the garden and they hid themselves behind the trees of the garden.  God called out to Adam asking where he was and Adam told him that when he heard his voice he hid himself because he was naked.  God asked him who had told them that they were naked, asked him if they had eaten from the forbidden tree that God had told them not to eat from.  Adam told him that his wife, the woman had given him the fruit from the forbidden tree and he did eat it.  The Lord asked the woman what she had done and she told him that the serpent had tricked her into eating the fruit.
God then told the woman that for her wrong doings that she should multiply by bearing children and her husband would rule over her.  The Lord told Adam for listening to his wife and disobeying his command that he would eat in sorrow from the tree for the rest of his life, which he came from the dust of the ground and he would be returned to it, meaning instead of living forever he would perish at some point.
Adam then called his wife Eve, meaning to live since she was the mother of all living things now.  The Lord made coats of skins to cover Adam and Eve, so they would not be naked, from a dead animal.  With the dead animal, the sacrifice of the blood is clearly implied.
God said that the man has come to know the difference between good and evil, and now unless he ate from the tree of life he would die. So God sent Adam out to the Garden of Eden to till the ground that he came from.  When the Lord sent Adam out he place at the East of the Garden of Eden a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
