Un Monde Sans Les Enfants
(Phillipe Claudel)

Publicidade
After La Petite Fille de Monsieur Linh , Philippe Claudel returns to us with a collection of news of an immense tenderness. The central theme, childhood. To the fill of its pages (superb illustrations!), it poses then an imaginary world full of a poetry made of good. It has this awkward fairy that lacks all its effects, of the sweepers of concern, of the hunters of nightmares, a girl who invents a vaccine for propagating happiness... It has this latent emotion and formidable talent of the storyteller too that allow the author to treat the subjects the more taboos without pouring in the easy or in the mawkishness. The mistreatment, the sickness, the war, the death are addressed here. And one catches themselves reading this work, at times at an elevated voice, with the eyes of the child who naps in us. Un superbe livre, pour les petits et grands.
