The American Scholar
(Multiple)
This is one thatseems to be anewly discovered prodigy for me. The writers are exceptional and detailed in their articles, recommended for anyone who enjoys uncanny wit, and strong opinions. The articles are thought provoking and enjoyable the whole way through, reading like a book rather than an article, with the main topics ranging from Science to Politics and somehow managing to entertwine them into one tight knit collaboration that makes for excellent reading any day. The writers come from a variety of backgrounds ensuring diversity of writing style and opinion, some are college students others like Brian Boyd, are English professors who are also distinguished New York essayists! As this is more of an intellectual magazine then a book, the articles are up to date on a variety of events. This is a fascinating read for anyone with a thirst for knowlege and good debate.
