this is avery goog nova i rate in the top five books i have ever read.Its based in new york, the main caracter being Cloe Larson, who was studying to be alawyer, who had a boy friend, Michal.
she was being stalked by a man a man called the clown. Who new everything about he.
he had on a number of nights waited in the bushes outside her grown floor flat,wth his clowns face mask on, and his bag of tools. But Michal always stayed late. Then one night cloe and Michal didnt go in her flat, Michal drove of in his car, leaving alone, the clown waited until he thought Cloe would be in bed, then he climed through the open window he tied her arms and legs to the bed, then he raped heramong other things he did to her, then he played on her fear by cutting herall over her body with a razer sharp knife. She was found the next morning by a friend unconscious, she recoverd in body only, it would always play on her mined. The clown had told her he would never forget her and would be back. Michal and Cloe parted he couldnt handle her fear. she never went back to her flat. After some time she went to Florida and became a big time prosicuter and changed her name to T C Townsend, but her nightmare night never left her torched mind. Over the next 12 years 11 young womans bodys were found, they had been druged just snogh to paralyse them, but not put them to sleep,their eyes were taped so they hed to watch as he or she cut their chest down and across, then took their harts out.Than dumped the bodys.
Then one day a rooky cop stopped a car he said for speeding.Bill Bantlig was the driver, he asked him to open the boot of his car, there was a young wowans body in it, her chest was split wide open.Bill Bantling went on trial for that murder. The prosicuter was T C Townsend. but the first time she saw him her nightmare night returned as she recognised the tatoo on his arm and the voice of the man who had raped her over 12 years ago.
I wil not tell you any more of this very holding book, just in case you read it
