It is a very funny little spoof on the film Edward Scissorhands. The events of this tragic love story even take place on Tim Burton Block, a district of Mega City one named after the director of the Scissorhands movie. Poor doomed Teddy Choppermitts is attacked in the street one day by a group of drunken medical students. They chop his hands off and replace the fingers with chainsaw blades. Teddy finds it hard to do anything, especially visiting the lavatory, and his own parents, appalled at the state he is reduced to, throw him out in the streets, where he has lived in back alleys, feeding on vermin Hope is on the horizon, but it won?t last long. He finds himself unexpectedly befriended by the preposterously named Winnie Flapwapper, a naïve young lady who takes pity on him and takes him home. The unfortunate wretch understandably freaks out her own parents. The father tries to throw him out, and entirely by accident, Teddy cuts him in half with the lethal blades on his hands. When the distraught mother gets too close, she meets the same sorry fate. Teddy?s girlfriend tries to comfort him in his distress, and she too gets cut to ribbons, and bleeds to death. When Judge Dredd arrives, Teddy is standing in a heap of blood and guts lamenting that he loved the girl who died. Dredd fights his way past the blades and beats the poor bozo to death. As the bodies are taken away in the meat wagons, Dredd wonders what kind of honeymoon Choppermitts could have possibly enjoyed. Hilarious.
