They were seven in the car bringing up the rating. A woman said has her friend Léon Chenal to tell them one of his fantastic histories of love and he accepted. He was a young painter who went from inn to inn to study the nature. At the time of his journey, he descended one evening in the small village of Benouville.He accommodated himself in an inn. Here he had another traveler who was English and that was called Miss Harriet. She didn't speak with anyone and she was strange. One day, Léon made a good painting of the nature and he has decided to show has it everybody. This moment her, Miss Harriet told to him that her painter was extraordinary. Then, they became friends. But some days after, she began to change. There was in her eyes a species of madness and her heart fought against an unknown strength. One day, in the valley, Léon worked quietly when someone is addressed gleamed like a ghost. It was Miss Harriet. He called her and at this moment, she has begun has tremble and has cry and it was because she fells in love with Léon.Then, Léon decided to leave.But, finally she has been found dead in the puit of water.In her note, she put that she would like to bury itself in this village because of Léon.
