Centers of resources: interfaces between materiality and virtualityBrigitte AlbéroUniversity Paris VII At the hour of the motorways of information, Web, networks will intra and Internet, of the sophisticated computers hyper which bring up to date, day and night, their data thanks to the network, the hour when the philosophers wonder about the anthropology of the Cyberspace, of the places materialize this virtual and dispersed richness: centers of resources. In less than five years, any university, company, center of formation which will not have its center of resources will pass for retrograde... These places, innovating only five years ago, become common today and their materiality even tends to disappear with the profit from accessible virtual spaces in Intranet. The question that we are posed, upstream this article, relates to the goals assigned with such devices. Indeed, according to projects' in which they fit, the centers of resources, while being characterized name consequently, are configured in an extremely different way. In this article and the framework of an approach engineering, underlain by philosophical choices and socio-policies, we will study in turn the hardware interfaces and human which can installation in a center of resources. We will also study the parts which they can play in the organization of the device and the development of the people, knowing that they must allow each user a personalized course which takes account of its socio-professional characteristics, psychological and cognitive. Our research proposes conceptual tools for the development of devices of formation, not only for the training of disciplinary contents, but also for the acquisition of one competence to the self-training, in and by the centers of resources. We will thus try to show that, in such a project, the center of resources can play itself, a social role of interface in a world which virtualise, partly, which becomes more and more complex, but where each person can contribute, actively, if it is formed, to stimulate what Pierre Levy calls collective intelligence.
