Modernistic Idealism

Who lives by ideals anymore? anyone? you? your friend? your dad? i think we have forgotten the definition of ideals. Actually no. We havent forgotten them yet. Tothe few of us who actually have a little respect for ideals, it is aconstant reminder. It becomes boisterous when we are poised totransgress. If we choose to ignore it, like that little kid on thestreet begging for money with an unforgettable expression on his faceas though he was being bludgeoned by all worldly miseries, we jettisonthe chance to live like we would have loved to- the idealistic way. Then it pricks us, it beleaguers us till we arrive at a decision. No, not a decision, a revelation really.Am i an idealist? or do i just fancy being one during free time? I come to understand a few idealistic rules. Then during testtime, i gleefully go ahead and break them all. Well i aint reallytalking about myself. Just a general rule. To tell you the truth, I pride myself inbeing an idealist. I do not bow down to despots, i do not eat fattyfood, and i sure as hell do my share of penance. Of course, not beingan ass-mosis to the despots has cost me little bit. But it got me somuch more. The despot feared me, he loathed me, he had nightmares aboutme. When under the sun ,he declared that he defeated me. othersnodded.they applauded, they teased, and marveled at my rebellion. Butthe smile on his face vanished sooner than it had appeared. That is mytrophy. For i will never be his accolade. He craves servility, and igave him .. well.. a finger ! So thats that. I pity those who dontcombat despots. Its sad really. For you have no respect left. Thedespot deosnt give a damn about you really. In truth, you dont give adamn about yourself. Isnt that just sad. Deplorable. Stick a finger at anyone who flexes his muscleunfairly. You might lose the finger, but remember, it will forever bestuck up his ass ! :)
