Book Review - Introduction To Ecology
(Josep Peñuelas)
It is not only a book about ecology. Ironically, in spite of the popularity enjoyed by this discipline, few people understand what it is about. This book was produced with thosepersons in mindwith minimal training, but a great interest. It deals primarily with the foundations upon which ecology is rooted; the environment, its different components, its interactions and its results. For those who shudder upon hearing the word, know that there exists something more than greenpeace, and I recommend this book todispel such fear. On the other hand, for those who think only of environmental defense, by means of activism, I recommend itso that they may first get to know it.
