A Cold Winter A cold winter, below the sun ages, lasted much longer to cover the entire area, on the ground, it was like a wasted candyfloss, and the ice drops clinched down the car windows that animated a sad face. A bird sang distance fare and it reached around the neighbourhood. The sun was just there to make that cold light and irritated people that sat in their cars, stuck in long dead end traffic and well turned-out cars and their head high. Children and parents crossing the road and a lollipop lady, who made sure that everyone will reach their destiny. Three girls were indeed crossing the road, letting the third one at the rear. The first one was wearing a long black coat with big white fashioned bottoms and had mirror in her hands, did not much care about reality but was too busy for everything. The second one however, was in middle, she was wearing a short denim coat and a scarf around her neck with her long blond hair stocked in it, she had a sweet smile and high check bones looked very much like a model running down the runway. The last one is the most interesting one, a brown-haired girl, with awkward Harry Potter glasses, reading a book along the way and was too busy of what was not expected. She could not keep up with them, but didn?t make the effort either. ?I knew it, ha!? said the last one with a grainy smile. ?What you stop talking to the book Lesley, and keep moving fast. We won?t be able to catch the bus this time with you waking like an old woman, trying to cross the road,? said the first one; her voice was imposing and cold. ?Just need to read the last paragraph, promise it won?t take that long,? she returned and looked up smoothly, taking back those glasses that was falling from its place.
