Students Essay And Letter The BeeThe bee is a kind of insect. It has two tiny glassy wings, six feet, a black head, and a reddish, golden body. It has black rings round the lower part of the body.A large number of bees live together in a swarm. They build their peculiar house, called the wax. There are hundreds of cells or small rooms in a hive. In some of these cells they store up honey. Honey is very sweet. Bees gather it from flowers. It is their food.There are three kinds of bees in a swarm. They are the queen ? bee, the workers and the drones. There is only one queen ? bee and the workers are all females. The drones are males. The queen ? bee lays eggs. They also protect the hive, day and night, from their enemy. The drones do nothing. They pass their time in idleness. The queen ? bee and the workers have strings, but the drones have not. Bees never use their strings unless there is a necessity. Bees are very industrious. They do not lose a moment from sunrise to sunset. If you mark them carefully, you will find them always engaged in gathering honey, or in storing it up in the hive, or in doing some other work. The bees are useful to us. We get wax and honey from the bee ? hive. Candles and other thing are made of wax. Honey is very nutritious. Generally bees live in a wild state. But in some countries people rear bees. They build a kind of house for them. The bees come their to live, build a hive and store up honey and wax.
