GENERATION XThis is the first abstract written by me AJ, and this is Generation X's abstract where we say what we want, do what we want, (within limits at times), and get our views and voices heard.No-one can silence Generation X, tell it what to say, what to do or anything.This is Generation X!My first comments are to be made about the political mess that is Great Britain. Ever since i have been following politics i have not find anything great about the way this country is run. First its Tony Blair, this guy who we have given the responsibility of running the country has a habit of doing the exact opposite of what the people want or at times what he says. He says he would lower taxes WRONG, He raises them, He says he would not introuduce top-up fees WRONG!, He introduces them.He claims MMR Jab is safe yet he does not want to say if his child has taken it, now Blair might be a private man but hell a parent would not beconfident about MMR if Blair himself refuses to say his own kid has taken it. Now this sends the message to the parent that Blair may not have given his child the jab which could mean he is not sure about the safety of MMR, so MR. BLAIR THEY ARE NOT SURE ABOUT THE SAFETY!Blair is not longer seen as a leader by his own party, people want to get rid of him in his own party. Now if this is how the party running Great Britain is, i would not want it.Now let me talk about a guy named Nick Griffith, the leader of BNP. Some say his racist, he says his not, well the name of his party is something British National Party.I am surprise people actually vote for these people, ok i get it the current government let youdown and the policies of this party appeal to you. SO WHAT! You trying to tell me the BNP will be fair to people of mix races or how should i put it people who are not British? BNP may win votes in some places but the British people will never be so gulliable to vote for them to run our country. Now if that happens GOD HELP US ALL!My last comment involves the MMR Jab. Now i know of may people whose kids have taken it and nothing is wrong with them. Now the parents have a option of either doing the MMR jab or going for the single jab which is done only privately. Now what is truly foolish and very very stupid is if parents go for neither and just sit back hoping. Well sorry without the jab your child won't be safe. ALready there has been an increase in Measles and Mumps and as usual the government will be blamed. Well it may have some blame but some blame goes on the parent for not taking eitehr option. Now going private costs money and those who cannot afford it, may need to save up and plan ahead for the future so they can. There is no point in decideing not to do either, risking your own child's life and then blaming everything on the guy upstairs (no not god! the Prime Minister).Now when a couple find that the woman is with child, they should plan what they want then. If they want the single jabs start saving up then, if they want the MMR, go to the surgery.People probably won't care what a guy who is not in a key position in Medical practiceor government but i feel the jab is safe, if something was wrong, something would be wrong with my sister right now and she is fine. The woman on This Morning on ITV, her kids have had it and they are fine.
