I haven't got this first novel published just yet, but i have completed the draft
even though this is for recommeding other books/articles/newspapers..ect, i still cannot resist but to let you all know of what my novel is about. So here it goes:

Note: this novel is based on my experiences. it is all true except for the name Jeniffer...'Breaking Free A Songbird' is about a young 13 year old girl, Jeniffer Rose, who has been bullied imensly since the
5th grade about her mild Epilepsy and curveture of the femis. Throughout highschool she was always a slow learner when it came to school work, and felt she always stood out among the rest. But one day, at age 11, she develops a keen interest in singing. looking up to her inspirations such as Mariah Carey and Aleesha Rome. By age 12 she knew she just had to somehow accomplish her dream on becoming a famous singer...but the bullieing got so severe at school she forgot how to laugh, and the only close friend she connected with was herself and the toilet cubicle where she sat alone, most of the day eating her lunch, or eating nothing at all, sitting there aimlessly figuring out ways how to make herself more popular and accepted...she knew it was never possible, so she only spent her time there day dreaming of another life....age 15, she gets a bad reaction to medicine, Toplamax, being said to be the first person to react so badly out of thousands. ..she was the first person. This reaction caused her to not walk properly, talk, and look after herself. Jeniffer didnt even know what a cup was, all she knew was fear
Age 16, 4 months is over and she cant conitnue on with Home Schooling, so she gets put in a Special Education Unit for half the year, bullieing and specualtion gets so bad from others she ends up being a bully herself, to even a down syndrome boy, 1 year a head of her.
Now age 18, she is 100% back to normal and knows all she ever dreams of is becoming a famous singer, though it will take some time, her singing vocals are better than ever, better than before she got sick in hospital. Now Jeniffer sings in a small choir group at her local church and has singing lessons, later on in the story you will only discover thats all she is truly passionate about . Singing.
