The Little Widow

The Little Widow was written by the same author of Five Minutes to same masterpiece telling the history of "Jorge" and "Carolina" (THE author says that those do not be the true names). They are a couple and marry, but in the day of the marriage Almeida, old guardian of Jorge, reveals-him that he is bankrupt and in debt. He pretends suicide and passes to be dedicated to recuperate the fortune and the good name of the family (using the false name of Carlos) after a journey to the U.S.A. He does and afterwards returns the Carolina (that there she was, even though always of mourning, had become the sensation of the dances), after a short interlude of mystery for uncover itself Carolina still will wanted him (the mystery preceding the resolution is a characteristic of the romantics).
