This time he is making his count with his second piece of work "One Night @ Call Center".The title of this novel is itself very catchy,pointing towards the main reasons of India's economic growth-CALL CENTERS. With almost 1/3rd of youth working in call centers,this book has found its way to almost every bookshelf in country.
But what makes this book so vital is story telling of Chetan Bhagat. Unpretentiously written, studded with dialouges worthy of crossover film,the novel has instantly gained a cult status.It is Bhagat's sobering snapshots of the reality of INDIA SHINING's IT REVOLUTION and BUISNESS OUTSOURCING.
The whole story revolves around life of few workers who shares a common night shift in a call center(New Delhi).There is stereotype for everyone-Shyam,good hard working fellow who lacks in confidence. Vroom,angry child of divorced parents,who thinks "we all are serving these white morons coz we have to complete our necessities".Radhika-marrird woman.Priyanka-the pretty young girl(Ex-Girl Friend of shyam).Esha-the glam doll and Military Uncle.
But the story has a lot of dark things and twists.Yes,story has peak climax when all these people recieve call from "GOD".and that single call changes thier life.
Once again marvellous work by Chetan Bhagat.
