Can You Hear Me Now?!
(lechiagurom)

Publicidade
Enough has been said (and joked about) cell phone users, but have you seen the US Tennis Open final on Saturday?
The Russian teenager, Maria Sharapova, wins the thing, obviously gets very emotional and, like all Grand Slam winners, runs up the stands to give her father a ?Russian bear hug?? We can see tears of joy in her eyes and pride in her father?s, and then, just a moment later, she gives an acceptance speech: ??and, of course, I want to thank my father? I love you dad!?
Twenty five thousand fans are on their feet, applauding the new champion, the camera moves up to show Yurij Sharapov and we see him... holding the phone (close to his ear, this damn noise!). The camera showed him long enough to see that he had absolutely no idea what was happening!
All right, I?m sure it wasn?t his arrogance, a way to show the whole world how little he cared that his daughter had just received a cheque for $ 1.7 million. It's just... what the hell can you do if your childhood friend from St. Petersburg or Vladivostock can?t wait to congratulate you on such occasion? You can?t just ignore him!
Right?
