Charlie and the chocolate factories follows the story of a young poor boy named Charlie Bucket as him and four rather misbehaved children get a tour of a world famouse candy factory. Each child has one a tour of the factory after they each won a golden ticket. The tickets were placed in candy bars. All the children but Charlie are spoiled. Augustas Gloop is a pudgy boy who is spoiled in food. Veruca Salt rich girl who wants everything is ussaly given it. A girl whos always chewing gum is given lots of candy and gum. The final spoilded kid is a boy named Mike Teeve. He watches tv constantly. Charlie is the only kid that behaves in the factory. The contest is very important becuse the factory was closed for awile because spies from other fatories were learning the secrets for the factory's greatest inventions. One of which was ice cream that never melted in the sun. The factory mystriously opened again but no one was ever seen going in or out. The factory is owned and ran by a strange old man named Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka is very happy and seemes obliviouse to all the children misbehaveing around him. The workers are short brown haired men called Oompa Loompas. The Oompa Loompas are said by Willy Wonka to be from Loompa Land. Like Willy Wonka they are very cheerful and full of song. After each child has a strange mishap the Oompa Loompas sing a song talking about the mishap and the childs personality which ironicly is the reson for their acidents. The children aren't harmed and seem to learn a little from the whole experiance. The mishaps often coinside with the childrens personality and fults and there humores at that. With all the silly machines, Willy Wonka's strange behavior and all the candy it's no wounder this chilrens classic is so popular.
