Life, The Universe And Everything
(Douglas Adams)

Publicidade
Arthur Dent, protagonist of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe and The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, is stuck on pre-historic Earth with no-one to talk to, and he's being insulted by a curious immortal being. What's a man to do? Go mad is Ford's suggestion, however, luckily for us (although maybe not them) they manage to catch the next sofa out of the place, and land, rather conveniently, in the middle of a cricket match. But at least it's the right millenium - just a few days before the start of the first book, actually. Teaming up with an old friend in his uniquely designed spaceship/restaurant, the two are once again stuck on a mission to save the universe, this time from a crazed gang of warriors from Krikkit who are in search of the key to unlock their masters and begin anew their genocidal rampage. How will the two fare when confronted with a homicidal bunny/fly/bat, a continuous (and graudally degenerating) party, and the general debilitation of all the main characters from their other adventures?
