THE BOY WHO DID NOT COME HOME FROM SCHOOL is a book that parents and caregivers can read to their children. It contains a short story that illustrates to children how a predator might approach them and what to do if they feel they are in danger. For the parent, the book details the different types of abduction, including Internet issues, as well as an identity kit for the child. In a time where Amber Alerts flash across highways and television screens daily on a nationwide level, this is a must-read for all.

This story is about a boy named Tim who was abducted from his school by someone he had seen many times. His best friend Johnny taught him about child safety tips (which Johnny learned from his parents), and these tips saved Tim?s life. Tim?s parents never discussed these topics with him. The story demonstrates how many parents don?t know the importance of teaching their children how to survive.
The book is educational in many aspects, so the reader is not only drawn to issues in the story, but learns how important it is for families to talk about child safety with their children. Knowledge is power. Prevention is a lot easier than recovery.
The goal is to create a compilation of scenarios showing your children what to do and what not to do in threatening situations. She offers tips in this story for children and parents that will aid in protecting their children from abduction. She also give insight into predator?s lures and what schemes they may use on our children. It is time for us to fight back. We must put a stop to the abduction of our children.
It is not to make our children afraid, but to make them aware of these people.
Our children have become an arena for these predators; we must take a stand to put a stop to the abduction of our children. Everyday, another child is missing the world. We must start teaching our children how to be safe in a dangerous situation. (Knowledge is Power) We must teach then prevention method.
