The current stage of human development presents extraordinary capacity for the production of information available on servers connected in a network of inclusion planetary – Internet, and the technological development of software and equipment to store and process substantial volumes of data.
The act doctor is a process of collecting data that are transformed into information, processed in the memory of the professional generates hypotheses of diagnosis that are confirmed or rejected until the time of consolidation of a clinical decision.
The use of computers in medicine has been advancing accompanying the machines systems and operational capacity development. Researches in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) allow the development of tools to support the medical practices. The article emphasizes the use of Systems specialists (SE) as the important tool for clinical decision support.
After reviewing some of the characteristics of medical work in the Family Health Program (FHP), concluded that the protocols diagnoses and/or assistance as established consensus and available in the form of tools auxiliary systems will be important for the doctor of the FHP.
