Isabella, a South African white, is a spoiled rich girl who is used to getting her own way with everything. She is bored and looking for adventure when Mark catches her eye. She has a passionate affair with him, which results in a baby. Mark is married, so he is waiting for his Catholic wife to agree to divorce him before he can legally marry Isabella.
What Bella doesn't know is that Mark is a senior KGB official who has made her his pet project - his ladder up the KGB by way of spreading communism all over Africa.
