The Long Ride Home

Joesph Clark a sad man, with dark brown eyes, slicked back, jet black hair, and wearing a long trench
coat, was walking to the train station. He was headed home in North Dakota after leaving for California
over 3 long and weary months ago. He was so happy to be going home, but was upset cause he had to
leave his wife and 2 month old son at home alone in the first place. His wife beutiful Darla has been waiting for this day, every since Joesph had left. His son Timothy was now 5 months old. Joesph wondered if Timothy would remember him. He was so afraid that his own flesh and blood had forgotten him. But seeing how Timothy was the spliting image of Joesph, his wife reasured him that Timothy has not forgotten. Joesph begin to board the train, but something did not feel right, but he just ignored it. As he laid his feet on the platform to board the train, it started to shake rapidly, all of a sudden Joesph notice the ground before him begin to crumble, and before he got the chance to turn and run it was to late.
About 12:30a.m that night Darla received a call. The man on the phone,' Hello ma'am, my name is Srgt. Kyle Massey,' She got the feeling then something had gone wrong. Srgt. Massey asked for a moment of her time, and asked when the last time she seen her husband. She told it has been 3 months, and she asked why he wanted to know? He said I'm sorry ma'am I hate to be the one to tell you this, but about 8:15p.m we found your husband Joesph Wayne Clark, he was buried under a pile of rubble, he had been periced through the chest with a piece of rebar.
