Every day before today was yesterday.
The first memories i have as a young man were playing in the back yard and seeing my father come home in his work truck. There were lots of things goings on in the back yard. My father came home in the man's log truck.
My younger brother and i could not weight for mother to go off to work each day. There would always be work to do until mother left for work. We should be working after mother left but we were children, and what children did as they were told. We would go out in the back yard to see what children would be coming over to play today. The children coming over would determine what we would get into. If Carl came over we would eat and play some games with the homemade toys. If Bill came over we would shot games of marble. If BooBoo came over we would fight a little, make homemade toys and argue a little more. If any of the girls came over we played or went our own ways. My father would leave for work long before we got out of bed. My mom say that i called my father Jake , by his first name. Jake would be the first to leave home and the last to return. Work was work back in those days. You say how do i know well we will talk about that later.
