After so many years I came across my all time favouritebook ' Little Women.' I had read it as a girl and re-lived that timeless classic once again with Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy.
This is a story of four sisters who grow up with their mother during Civil War ( their father is away fighting the war).It is a story of their joys and sorrows , of their squabbles and their hard lessons of poverty, of the men who come into their lives and of the strong bonds which hold them together,
I think that girls of all ages become a part of the warmth and beauty of the domestic lives of the March family when they read this book.
Even today when I read this novel I am reduced to tears as it touches me deeply.
