Roadmaster

After beeing seen as the new category at my home library, I will finally decide to choose the book "Roadmaster" by Stephen King. It exists in two different forms: the large form and the pocket-book form. The cover page on both books is different. On the large book, one can see an automobile that is half Buick and half a police car (on the back cover it is white); while on the pocket-book size, one sees only a Buick (on the back cover it is black). The book consists of approzimately 400 pages. The story summarizes about a Pennsylvannian police unit that finds an empty Buick at a country gas station. They report it to the "Company D" building (which is also the name of their unit), but each of the police officers feels a particular attraction upon this one car. An attractive force toward the Buick. One senses that it breathes and lives. After it is placed into Hanger B, they leave it there and shut the file. Then, it makes the members of Company D be in ecstasy by creating fascinating lights, disappearing those around it, making non-human beings, etc. This book is full of suspense that will astound you enormously. You will experience many different emotions that will make you want to continue reading the book. I myself did not want to stop reading! What is good in this novel is that there is not one main character. Each member of the Company D recounts his own crazy adventure with the Buick Roadmaster. Some sections are disgusting, but I strongly reccommend all of this book. Roadmaster was my first book that I read by Stephen King and this is also the one that has given me passion for Mr. King! Now, I have become a fan of this writing genre! I would give a total of 90.5/100 to Roadmaster!
