Sona Dora: A Dream Journal Of Sophia Guevara
(Carla R. Herrera)

Publicidade
Sona Dora: A Dream Journal of Sophia Guevara is a fictional account of Sophia Guevara?s life through the dreams she recorded from childhood. The story begins with Sophia?s great-niece finding her journals thirty years after her death. And though Guevara has been gone for some time, her presence is clearly felt throughout the story.

There is a definite sense of loss throughout the tale, but expressed as it is, comes to the reader poignantly, sometimes humorous and bittersweet.

The relation of Sophie?s dream life is organized chronologically. It starts in 1917, when Sophia is nine-years old and runs through to 1972, just before her death. Each dream is accompanied by comments Sophie made and her attempt at interpretation and the author?s notes of additional information found through interviews with family members and other research.
